On a perfect day at the ERPM Golf Course in Boksburg, Asahi Africa proudly joined the Pumps & Valves Africa Golf Day, an event that brought together a vibrant mix of industrial players from engineering shops and resellers to crane specialists and beyond. The atmosphere was charged with energy and filled with camaraderie, competition, and countless opportunities to connect.
Our team set up an inviting stand on Hole 6, a spot that offered a compelling view of the entire course. This hole was no ordinary challenge. Players teed off from a box flanked by tall trees, with a small watering hole adding to the complexity. The fairway opened into a wide expanse of lush grass, but the green lay off to the left, demanding precision and strategy to shoot past the tree line. It was a test of skill that kept everyone engaged and talking.
The day kicked off with a shotgun start, ensuring that every hole was alive with activity from the get-go. The weather couldn’t have been better with clear skies and a gentle breezes that set the tone for a memorable experience. The event more than golf; it was an opportunity to forge new relationships. Asahi Africa seized the opportunity to make new connections and strengthen existing relationships, reinforcing our commitment to collaboration within the industrial sector.
Two of our own took to the greens: our Director - Hideyuki Kanai and External Sales Engineer - Jared Snyman. Their presence highlighted our hands-on approach and passion for engaging with the industry beyond the boardroom. The day concluded with a prize-giving dinner at the clubhouse, where stories were shared, achievements celebrated, and partnerships deepened.
